Christopher is a senior commercial real estate investment and finance professional with 30 years experience. He manages, evaluates, invests in and finances real properties, real estate securities (REITs) and related investments, including distressed real estate investments. His responsibilities have included the formulation of investment strategies and the development and direction of senior client relationships.
Chris’ experience includes public and private real estate holdings in a variety of real estate sectors (including retail, residential, office, industrial) and structured and corporate credit exposures; he has worked on individual property exposures of up to $50 million and on portfolio related transactions in excess of $2.0 billion.
In addition to working as an consultant, Chris has worked for investment managers (Deutsche Bank), private equity firms, investment banks (UBS/PaineWebber), banks (JPMorgan/Chase), ratings agencies (Moody’s) and government agencies (FDIC).
Chris has an MBA from Columbia Business School and his formal training includes the completion of management training programs – at both Chase Manhattan Bank and the FDIC. He is an Adjunct Professor at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, authors industry articles and participates on industry-sponsored panels.
